X-Fusion becomes title sponsor of the CCCX Race Series

X-Fusion Super D Series by CCCX

X-Fusion is pleased to announce that we will be the title sponsor of the 2011 Super D series by CCCX. The partnership extends a three-year relationship and helps to grow the already successful local series developed by Keith Defiebre. You may know Keith from the awesome work he does each year building the Sea Otter Classic Slalom track or from one of his other CX or XC race series.

The CCCX series is held just down the road from the historic Sea Otter Classic venue at Laguna Seca atop the beautiful coastal mountains above Monterey, CA. The vast trail network within El Torro Park allows for diverse tracks that constantly change to test rider skill from race to race. New riders should expect high-speed descents, flowing single-track, quick high-intensity pedaling sections, and unique terrain to the coastal environment. For those who have raced at CCCX before you can expect a diverse selection of the previous tracks we have raced over the past years.

Some notable changes to the series will be: the involvement of USA Cycling, the event name change to Super D (same tracks, just better fitting for a trail bike DH race), and 100% pro payback at all the races throughout the series. Pro riders must possess a current annual membership with USA Cycling.
