Developed over a three-year period, the Revel upside down fork in the ultimate in suspension performance, with stiffness that is far superior to any fork on the market. The benefit of an upside down design is the largest tubes are in the area of the highest stress: the junction between the crown and outer legs. The Revel outer tubes are a massive 48mm at the crown, providing immense fore and aft stiffness. The weakness of an upside down fork, up until now, has been the fork’s lateral stiffness. But with the Revel’s patented key way system, the lower legs are actually locked into the burly upper tubes, providing stiffness that is unsurpassed. Now available with the Roughcut HLR bladder cartridge damper as well as dedicated offsets for 27.5 and 29 forks, the Revel is the must-have fork for 2016.
Introduced in 2014, the RV1 continues to gain speed in with added options for 2015. The RV1 features a host of innovative features, including carbon leg guards to protect the magnesium casting, Neutra-Valve bleed ports to release pressure built up in the lowers, and a super lightweight crown and casting design to create a 200mm travel fork at 2767 grams. With new crown options, including drop crowns and dedicated offsets for 27.5” wheels, and our tried and trusted twin-tube HLR damping system, the RV1 is THE fork for performance minded riders everywhere.
For 2015, the Metric now boasts dedicated crown offsets for both 26 and 27.5” wheels. The Metric features a host of other innovative features, including carbon leg guards to protect the magnesium casting, Neutra-Valve bleed ports to release pressure built up in the lowers, Flux-Piston air spring system to reduce internal seal drag significantly, and a super light weight crown and casting design to create a 180mm travel fork at 2200 grams. With the increased control that dedicated offsets offer, and utilizing our tried and trusted HLR damping system, the Metric is THE fork for performance minded riders everywhere.
Developed for the new progression of 29er bikes with longer travel and aggressive angles, the Trace offers a stout chassis with smooth & efficient damping. The RL2 damper will eat away the small bumps while the mid-valve provides unprecedented mid to ending stroke support. Also offered in the Trace line is the Uni-Crown. The Uni-Crown is a single piece crown steerer that increases chassis strength at that junction by over 50%! With the Trace’s progressive new-school damping and light and stout chassis, riders will no longer have shy away from the most technical bits of trail but will be looking for what they can conquer next.
The Sweep series is our new 27.5 inch wheel fork for 2014. It spawned from our 26 inch Slant series that was developed to bridge the gap between lightweight trail forks and high performance all-mountain forks using a 34mm chassis. The Sweep has been given a dedicated offset of 46mm that you will now find on all of our 27.5 inch forks. New for 2014 and included on the Sweep is our LockX axle system allowing riders to quickly and safely remove and install their front wheels on the fly. Lastly, the Sweep comes equipped with our test winning and most efficient RL2 damper systems in a svelte, but stout chassis allowing you to dominate the trail in any direction.
It’s pretty clear the competition forgot about stiffness when designing its new plus-size wheel forks. Most plus forks are just wider versions of a standard fork, without thought to adding material to make up for the stiffness loss brought the extra width. With the new McQueen fork, we didn’t want to compromise stiffness just because of a bigger tire, so our goal was to make it equal in stiffness to the rest of our 34mm forks. And we did it without adding a ton of heft. The McQueen tips the scaled just over 2200 grams, providing a stiffness to weight ratio bar none.
The new STREAT series is our 32mm chassis, 27.5 specific, XC and Trail Fork. Having up to 140mm’s of travel, remote compatible or lever actuated lockout, and a dedicated crown offset, the Streat is all-day-every-day fork for those looking to move to a new wheel size. In addition to the performance features, the Streat is offered with either 1 1/8” or Tapered steer tube configurations and with either our X-15 tool-less axle system or industry standard 9mm.
The Slant series was developed to bridge the gap between lightweight trail forks and high performance all-mountain forks. At X-Fusion we have taken note that not only suspension products have been progressing over the last few years, but the rider has as well. You all are fitter, faster, stronger and are looking for a product to match. The 34mm stanchion tube chassis provides the perfect balance between weight and strength in the trail and all-mountain category. The Slant comes equipped with our most efficient RL2 damper systems in a svelte, but stout chassis allowing you to dominate the trail in any direction.
The younger taller brother of the Velvet is born to bring a performance level XC fork at a cost effective price to the 29’er market.
