On the Edge: XFUSION at Rampage 2025

The Utah desert is calling, and you know what that means. It’s time for Red Bull Rampage. This year, XFUSION is stoked to have Adolf Silva and Tom van Steenbergen dropping in for the biggest and baddest event in freeride mountain biking. Two riders, two completely different setups, and one goal: go huge in Virgin.

Adolf Silva is back in the mix, and if you’ve ever watched him ride, you know he doesn’t hold back. The Spanish freerider has a style that’s all about big energy, big tricks, and smooth flow from top to bottom. For this year’s Rampage, he’s running a custom Yeti SB165 with our RV1 dual crown fork up front and an H3A rear shock out back. It’s a setup built for confidence on massive hits while staying composed through the steep, loose, and sketchy terrain that Rampage is known for. Adolf’s riding is fast, fearless, and always fun to watch, and this build fits him perfectly.

Then there’s Tom van Steenbergen, who’s bringing something new to the table this year. Known for his clean style and ability to pull off mind-blowing tricks with precision, Tom decided to switch things up for 2025. In the past, he’s stuck with the trusted RV1 dual crown fork, but this time he’s rolling with our Vengeance 38 single crown up front, paired with the H3A in the rear. It’s a big change, but if anyone can show what a single crown is capable of at Rampage, it’s Tom. The lighter, more agile setup gives him room to get creative and open up new possibilities on some of the gnarliest terrain in the world.

As the lines get built and practice heats up, the buzz in Virgin is real. Adolf is bringing his signature flow and fearless attitude, and Tom is ready to prove that creativity and control can coexist at the highest level. Two riders, two different approaches, one shared mission: send it deep and make it look good.
